Manotick Art Gallery and Framing

I am a Canadian contemporary landscape artist living in Ottawa, Canada.  The arts have always been in my blood, having also been trained in classical piano and ballroom dancing.  Over the last several years, oil painting has been my preferred form of artistic expression, under the mentorship of award-winning Canadian landscape artist Gordon Harrison.

I have a passionate connection with nature (especially mountains and water), and love capturing the beauty and serenity of my favourite landscapes.  I enjoy exploring a variety of vibrant colours, and use thicker brush strokes to provide a more contemporary feel to my landscape paintings.

As an avid traveller and skier, my paintings are inspired by the landscapes I encounter on my numerous Canadian and global adventures, in addition to the beauty of my surroundings closer to my hometown of Ottawa, Ontario, my family condo in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, and my cottage in Low, Quebec.

By combining several of my passions, I derive great pleasure from both the zen experience of creating my art, as well as sharing it with a broader audience.
